I know it has been a while since I posted here, so I will try to do better.  We got real busy, then I got sick, then I started gearing up to go out of town for spring break, then I was out of town, then when I got back to work, it took me a while to catch up, and now I think I am caught up!  So, of course we got in a bunch of new spring merchandise in the meantime, so since warmer weather is upon us, come on in to check it all out!

The Old Man decided to go in and OPEN, so he is there.  He said the main roads are completely fine to drive on.  I don't know how long he will stay, so if you want to go in, please call him at 770-428-6136 so he will be sure to stay OPEN. 

Closed Wednesday 02/12/14

Roads in Marietta starting to ice over. Stay off roadways if at all possible

Over the last hour, ice has started to accumulate on bridges and roadways in Marietta. Several bridges on I-75 in Marietta have reports of ice as well. Crews are actively trying to treat the roads but we are urging motorists to stay off of the roadways. If you have to be on the road please slow your speeds, allow a lot of extra time to get to your destination and use extreme caution when travelling over bridges or roadways less travelled. Make sure you have a fully charged cell phone with you in the event you need emergency assistance.

OPEN Tuesday 02/11/14

I am here and OPEN on Tuesday 02/11/14.  Despite the sever weather advisory, it is only raining and about 40 degrees today.  The roads are clear and there are plenty of people out and about.  I am not sure if I will stay all day today (depends on the weather and our customer count), so please call me at 770-428-6136 if you want to come in later today, so I can make sure to be here.

Winter Storm Warning

We are under a Winter Storm Warning for Tuesday 01/28/14 to Wednesday 01/29/14.  I plan to OPEN on Tuesday 01/28/14 at 10:00am, but who knows what will happen after that.  I will post here if I close early due to snow, so the moral of this post is call before you head our way -- 770-428-6136.

Neighbor Update

An update on our neighbors:

The Greek restaurant is still not open, and I have been told they will try to open by the end of this month, but by February 15 at the latest.

The building beside (behind) us on Church Street Extension is no longer vacant.  It looks like an insurance company has moved in called Family First Life.

Denver Broncos

We have one left!  Get it before it is gone!  Represent your team in style!  The Denver Broncos are going to the big game, and we have this shirt left in about a size 4X.  I don't expect that we will have it for long!

We just got in a big box full of white dress shirts in big and tall sizes from Damon (formerly Enro).  We got in 16.5 neck up to 22 neck, and sleeve lengths from 34 up to 39.  The features of these shirts include:

Box of Socks

We just got in a big box of white crew socks from Burlington.  These have the Interwoven label and they are the king size, fitting shoe sizes 12 and up.  They are mostly cotton and are in packs of 3. 

12/31/13 New Year's Eve

We are OPEN today, 12/31/13 * New Year's Eve.  I have told a few customers that we will close early today at 4:00, but I am not sure if I will.  I may stay until 6:00, but I am undecided -- I suppose it depends on how busy we are today.  The moral of this story is:  if you want to come in after 4:00 today, please call me at 770-428-6136 to let me know, so I will be sure to be here.

We will be closed on 01/01/14 New Year's Day, and will re-open on Thursday 01/02/14 with our normal business hours.

Van Heusen Dress Pants

We finally got in the Van Heusen dress pants that we have been waiting for!!  These may be the best replacement style to the Action Slacks by Levi Strauss & Co. that we have seen so far.  The Van Heusen pants are a wrinkle free no iron all poly plain front pant with the hidden side stretch, and they are machine washable.  We got in black and dark gray, from 44 waist up to 54 waist, in 30 & 32 lengths.
