I made a few changes to this blog. I was unaware that you had to be a registered user of Google in order to make a comment here, so I changed that so that anyone can leave a comment without needing to register. Also, I adjusted the blog so that posts would stay on the first page longer. And, I changed to times to Eastern Time Zone. For some reason, it was set so that everything was posting as Pacific Time Zone.

All-Elastic Waist Pants

I just got in a big shipment of all-elastic waist pants and jeans. The pants are in khaki and navy, and the jeans, of course, are denim.

After checking The Weather Channel http://www.weather.com/, it looks like we are in for at least a week of more cold weather. Please keep in mind that we are having our end-of-season sale for most long sleeve shirts, sweaters and jackets, so you can certainly get some good deals right now. The money saving experts will tell you to hit the end-of-season sales to save money!!

Finally!!

Thank you for finally firing Dennis Felton as the UGA Basketball coach!! It was obvious that he was going to be fired after last season, and then -oops!- the team accidentally won the SEC. Then they had to keep him on just to avoid looking foolish, but the joke was on them, because they still look foolish anyway! So, here's to hoping the next coach will be better, even though it is almost impossible to be worse!!

In Memory of Ashli

This is in memory of Ashli Fisher Holley, who tragically had her life cut short Monday night in a car crash on Cobb Parkway. Ashli was a business associate of mine and a truly beautiful person. She leaves behind a husband and young son. Ashli -- you will be missed.

Sweatpants

I got in a shipment of sweatpants today. They all have elastic around the ankle, and there is some jersey material (thin) and some fleece (thick). I also got in a handful of jersey sweatshorts.

Busy Day!!

The arrival of the cold weather brought out a lot of buyers and shipments!! I was so busy I didn't have time to post here. So, yesterday we got in a big shipment from our military supply company which included mostly cargo fatigue pants in black, khaki, and camo, sizes 2X to 7X. There were also some cargo shorts and camo thermal henley shirts. I also got in a shipment of Dockers cargo pants. And I got in a shipment of sleeveless t-shirts (good timing for a 20 degree day!), and also some t-shirts with no pockets. I also got in a shipment from Greystone that has various item including t-shirts, jeans, jersey sweatpants, fleece cargo sweatpants, twill pants, and golf shirts.

I also wanted to congratulate Kennestone Heart Physicians Group www.kennestoneheart.com for being honored for the second year in a row as one of the top cardiovascular medical practices in the country!! The award, given by the Medical Group Management Association www.mgma.com, is only given to the top 253 out of 13,500 in the country!! Congrats to Kennestone Heart!!

Just a reminder that I am open today, Monday, Tuesday, and the rest of the week. People have been asking if we are going to be closed on Monday for MLK Day, but we will be open. The only day we are closed is Sunday.
