No cause for alarm -- the old Bank of America building next to us is being torn down on Sunday to make way for a new Zaxby's, so the Police Department is conducting training exercises today -- cops everywhere!!

New York Giants

The New York Giants have made it to the "Big Game" and I still have 2 jerseys left. They are sized a 3X and a 4X, but they run kind of small, so I would call them a small 2X and a small 3X. The jersey on the left is the front, and on the right is the back. They are short sleeve with a snap front. You haven't seen anybody else wearing anything like these, have you? Today has been a very slow day -- I guess the weather is too nice.

I'm outta here -- I'll be back Monday 01/02/12 at 10:00am.

12/30/11 to 01/02/12

My plans for the next few days:

12/30/11 - I will be OPEN until 6:00pm.

12/31/11 - New Year's Eve - I will OPEN at 10:00am and will be OPEN until later in the afternoon. Normal hours are until 5:00pm -- if I am busy, I will stay until 5pm, but if I am slow, I might close early. If you want to come in later in the afternoon, please call me at 770-428-6136 to let me know when you would like to come in.

01/01/12 - New Year's Day -- We will be CLOSED.

01/02/12 - Monday -- I will OPEN at 10:00am. Normal hours are until 6:00pm, but please see above for 12/31/11. Same deal -- if I am busy, I'll be here until 6pm. If I am slow, I may leave early. Call me at 770-428-6136 if you want to come in late Monday.

After that, we will be OPEN our normal business hours -- Monday to Friday from 10am to 6pm, and Saturdays from 10am to 5pm.

Thermal Underwear

I just got in a shipment of thermal underwear -- tops and pants. They are in regulars and talls, size large up to size 8X. It has not been too cold thus far this season, but I think colder weather is supposed to be here next week.

We are OPEN today -- Monday 12/26/11. The Old Man will be there this morning at 10am, and I will be in late this afternoon and stay until 6pm.

12/23/11 & 12/24/11

We are here and OPEN today 12/23/11 until 6:00pm. At least it feels more like Christmas season weather today.
We will be OPEN Saturday 12/24/11 Christmas Eve from 10am to 4:00pm, so come on in for your last minute Christmas gifts and stocking stuffers.

12/22/11

Counting today 12/22/11, there are only 3 shopping days until Christmas!! This is the first day of Winter, but this 70 degree weather does not make it feel like winter... Oh well, but I can guarantee you that we will be freezing in a month, so come on in because we still have plenty of clothes to keep you warm -- and they make great Christmas gifts, too -- something he can use!!

Players Underwear

I got in a shipment from Players today, so I have a good stock of underwear and undershirts.

BIG NEWS!!

You know the old empty Bank of America building next door to us? A sign just went up today that a Zaxby's will soon open there!! I am super excited -- I LOVE Zaxby's!! I'll post here when they are OPEN!!

Greystone

I got a good sized shipment from Greystone. I got a bunch of stuff up to 10X -- some of it including jackets, long sleeve and short sleeve T-shirts, button-up shirts, and golf shirts. I also got some jersey sweat pants and a few various other shorts and jeans.

PJs

I just got in a shipment of long sleeve long leg poplin pajamas, some in solid colors and some in stripes. So, I have a good supply from XLTall up to 6X. I also ordered poplin robes, but they sent flannel niteshirts instead. I will send back the nightshirts in about 2 weeks, so if you need one, let me know and you can purchase one of these before I send them back. The poplin robes are being re-shipped correctly, so I should have those in a couple of weeks.

Perry Suspenders

I got in a shipment of Perry Suspenders. These are great seller -- the suspenders hook on to your belt, not your pants, so they stay up much better. Come in and check them out if you like the idea of wearing suspenders.

Thanksgiving Eve

I am here and OPEN today. I will be leaving about 2:00, but the old man will be coming in to close the store. He should be here until 6:00pm, but if he gets bored or distracted, he may leave a little early. So, my advice to you is if you want to come in today later in the afternoon, call and let him know that you are coming at 770-428-6136.

Of course, we will be closed Thursday for Thanksgiving -- Happy Thanksgiving!!

Christmas SALE!!

It is Fall, so the weather is getting cold (if you ignore the record high temperatures today and tomorrow...) The time is upon us to start thinking about Holiday shopping. This week is Thanksgiving Thursday, Black Friday, & Small Business Saturday. Just in case anyone is unsure or unclear, Leiter's Big and Tall & Leiter's Uniforms qualifies as a small business. Cotton Handkerchiefs

What a great idea! I just had a customer come in and buy a pack of handkerchiefs for every male member of her family to give for Christmas gifts. It is hard to find handkerchiefs in 100% cotton, but I have them! They come in a 3 pack, 6 pack, or 12 pack. Makes a great stocking stuffer!!

Pocket T-shirts

I just got in a shipment of 100% cotton short sleeve (just in time!) T-shirts with a pocket from Foxfire. I got red, burgundy, light blue, olive, navy and black, in sizes from 2X Tall & 3X Big up to 6X Big & Tall.

Car-B-Q

This is what is left of the car that caught on fire in our parking lot today...

Not one of our customers -- she was a patient at the Doctor's office next door.

Nobody was hurt, and big thanks go to the Marietta Fire Department for putting out the fire!!
