Psych!!

We just got this shipment in, so you can understand my combination of excitement and confusion when I saw the TGI Friday's Mozzarella Sticks graphics...

Well, my balloon was somewhat deflated when I opened the box to find the leather belts that I ordered -- MADE IN THE USA!!

Now I am hungry...

Skin Cancer Specialists

An update on Roselane Street kind of behind us:

Some of the run down houses have been torn down, and I am told that Dr. Mark Chastain with Skin Cancer Specialists, P.C. will be building a surgery center on this spot.  They are a customer of ours, but more importantly, Dr. Chastain successfully managed my father's melanoma a few years ago.  THANK YOU!!

Wrangler

We just got in large shipment of jeans and cotton pants from Wrangler.  If you have not tried them, the Wrangler stretch jeans shown in this picture are our BEST  SELLING jeans!!  

New Greek Pizza Restaurant Update

I previously posted that Qubie's sandwich shop in our shopping center has closed and a new Greek Pizza Restaurant will be opening in its place.  The new update is that the lawyer that was next door to the restaurant has also recently closed, and the Pizza place is going to take over their space as well, so they will now have twice the seating space.  I will post more updates as they are available. 

Levi's shipment

We just got in 2 big boxes of denim jeans from Levi's.  These are all the 550 relaxed fit style in the darker denim color, just in time for colder weather. 

Dockers

We just got in a nice sized shipment of Dockers from Levi's.  Mostly khaki, navy, and black, from 34 waist up to 60 waist, and 30 length up to 38 length. 

New XL Ties

We just got in a great looking new shipment of extra long ties, some silk and some microfiber.  Everybody looks better in a tie!

Erick Hunter Sweatpants

We just got in a shipment of Erick Hunter of Florida Sportswear sweatpants.  These are all Made in America!  It has been about two years since we got a shipment of these, so we were completely out of stock.  Now we have a good selection of the lightweight jersey material, and also the heavier weight fleece material.  We have sizes 2X up to 6X in black, navy, and grey.  These all have elastic at the ankles.

We just got shipments in from both Hanes and Players, so we have a pretty good stock of underwear and undershirts.

Sweat Shorts

I just got another shipment of sweat shorts.. These have pockets and are available in black, navy, and grey.  I'm sure it will be hot again soon!

Belts - Made in the USA!

I just got in a shipment of dress belts and casual belts, all leather, all MADE IN THE USA!!  The colors are black and brown, some of them reversible.  Sizes go from 40 waist up to 80, and everything in between.

Rumor Has It...

After decades in business, Qubie's, the sandwich shop at the end of the shopping center that we are in, closed their doors for good.  Rumor has it that what is described as a Greek fast food pizza restaurant will be taking over the space.  They will also have outdoor seating and serve beer and wine.  Sounds interesting to me!

Casual attire

For those of you who come in to shop in the foreseeable future, I am dressing very casually, but there is a good reason for it.  I injured my back in a yard work accident about one month ago, and thus I am unable to bend over.   So, I am unable to put on socks and shoes by myself, and I am working now in shorts and bare feet.  I hope to not offend anyone with my bare feet, but I can only do what I am able to do to get through the day.  Also, I am on pain meds, so I can't drive.  If you are in our parking lot looking for my grey pick-up truck, it is not here, but I am still in the store about 75% of our open hours.  The old man will be here when I am not, despite his desire to take more naps...

Poplin Robes

We just got in a full shipment of lightweight solid color poplin robes.  They go from XL up to 8X, in bigs and talls.  Good timing, now that warmer weather is here!

Greystone

I made the mistake of going out of town for a few days last week, so when the old man was here, he did his normal activity, which is to over-order something...  So, we just got in three BIG boxes from Greystone, full of polo shirts, micro-fiber button-up shirts, sweat shorts, sweat pants, and cotton twill pants, among other things.  Please come in and buy some of this, so I can pay for it...

Dockers

We just got in a replenishment shipment of Dockers pants, so we have a good selection in stock.  All of Dockers pants size 46 and up now have the hidden side stretch in the waistband.

Wrangler Pants and Berne Jeans

We just got in two different shipments, one full of Wrangler cotton twill pleated pants from 42 up to 58 waist, and the other full of jeans from Berne Apparel Co. up to 60 waist.  These are both great selling styles for us.  The Wrangler pants are khaki, navy, or black, and the Berne jeans are dark denim or light denim.
