Merry Christmas and Liberty

I hope everybody has a very Merry Christmas. We will be open until about 4:00ish today if you need any last minute stocking stuffers. Also, we just got in a big shipment of Liberty overalls, so we have a very good stock right now.

Falcon Bay shipment

We just got in a big Falcon Bay shipment with a good variety of different items. Included were: new Ultra Suede jackets, Ultra Suede shirts, hidden side elastic pants, and new striped button-up shirts. Christmas is near!!

FALCONS!!

How about your PLAYOFF BOUND FALCONS!! Pretty darn good for a team that just a year ago was in complete turmoil, and this year have a first year coach and a rookie quarterback! I ordered some new Falcons T-shirts this morning, and they are supposed to arrive Friday morning. I'll post here first when they arrive!!

Sales so far have been steady. People frequently ask how we are doing with the "recession", and things are OK. Everybody still needs clothes, so I think we are not being hit as much as some other businesses. Sales of pants, jeans, underwear, sweat pants, sweat shirts, sweat suits, sweater vests, robes, and thermals have been strong this season. Levi's and Dockers

We got in yet another shipment of Levi's and Dockers!!

It's underwear day!!

I got in a lot of underwear today. I got in four big boxes of Hanes briefs, undershirts, and mid-length briefs. I also got in a big box of Players underwear in all different styles, sizes, and colors.

Falcon Bay and Enro

I got in a BIG shipment of Falcon Bay -- mostly the all-elastic waist pants in all five colors, and also some short sleeve pocket T-shirts and some various items in fleece.  Also, we got in a small shipment of Enro long sleeve dress shirts in white.

IZOD

I got in a big shipment of solid color short sleeve IZOD golf shirts.  There are some new colors, and sizes from 2X Big or Tall to 6X Big or Tall.

Zip-up Hoodies

The weather is turning colder again, and just in time I got in some Zip-up Hooded sweatshirts. Come on in if you are cold!!

Berne

I just got in a shipment of Berne jeans, and some insulated jackets and overalls. The Berne jeans are technically work jeans, but they fit very well and look like nice casual jeans, and still have a price of a work jean. Come in and check them out, or you can also check out www.theberneway.com.

Front of the Class

On this Sunday night, December 7, be sure to watch the "Hallmark Hall of Fame" movie on CBS called Front of the Class http://www.hallmark.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/article%7C10001%7C10051%7C/HallmarkSite/HallmarkHallOfFame/HHOF_TOP. It is the story of a real person named Brad Cohen who has Tourette Syndrome http://www.tsa-usa.org/. I used to work with Brad at the Atlanta Braves. He is a good guy, and I'll be watching!! More shipments

I got in a shipment of Levi's Action Slacks and Dockers. I also got in a shipment of Perry Suspenders. If you don't know what these are, they are a very good seller for us. Perry Suspenders hook on to your belt, so if you wear a tool belt, or have other heavy items on your belt like keys, a walkie talkie, or carry a gun (law enforcement or security guards), these suspenders help to hold up your belt and pants (and that is always a good thing)!

60 Years!!

It is official -- today is the day!! I still have here in the store (ask to see it if you are a history buff) the letter that my Grandfather sent out announcing that he was the sole owner of all outstanding stock of Kaplan's Department Store, and changed the name to Leiter's Department Store. So, today is officially 60 years in business!! Thanks, H. D. Leiter!!
